There are not enough stars in the sky to rate Island Animal nor how helpful Tori and Pio have been. It was through their guidance and recommendations of supplements that I was able to get an extra three years with my yellow lab post cancer surgery and chemo. I first went in there YEARS ago thinking I could get a nice fancy collar for what I thought would be one of the last photos of my dog. Together we beat the odds. I now have a one year old black lab and come down to Island Animal for dog food, advice, treats and toys. Tori and Pio have been a godsend. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND popping into Island animal if you have a fur baby you love at home!!!!

We've only just begun visiting Island Animal for our furry family members needs. We have an older Presa and a very needy frenchie, both of which have some demanding nutritional demands. Tori and Pio know their stuff, are so incredibly helpful and inviting, AND they carry a great selection of raw and raw supplements.

I love love this local spot for animals and their humans. I was in a bind when my dog sitter bailed on me on folk festival weekend. I walked into Animal Island with our cavapoo hoping to get a lead on a new sitter and the owner totally came to the rescue—helping me find a new sitter for the next day by connecting me with one of their regular customers. It was such a relief and I couldn't be more grateful! Animal Island is clearly a special place that truly cares about its customers and their furry friends.

We had, by far, the most pleasant experience while shopping here. First of all, the owner is so kind and friendly but also Uber knowledgeable. He handed us several samples to try before buying for our very neurotic cat plus we purchased healthy treats for our pups. He recommended and we purchased a CBD for our cat, and oh my, what an amazing transformation. We will be back soon to purchase some of the items of the samples he gave us. The shop is 30 minutes away but well worth the drive

By far my favorite pet store I have been to out of 15 different states. I feed my pup raw food and moving around often it is difficult to find a well balanced, hearty, and healthy brand. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations with all the questions I had regarded the different brands. I spend at least 20 minutes in the store each time I go just having casual conversation with the staff because they are so friendly. I could get a raw food 1 mile from my house but I choose to drive to Jamestown just for the friendly atmosphere, product knowledge, and the fact my pup gets a treat each time we go. Highly recommend Island Animal wether you feed raw or not. They have a wonderful range of products.

Best experience I have ever had at a pet store, very friendly and informative. Had fantastic suggestions to make our pup happy and healthy. Would recommend making a stop at Island Animal for any and all pet needs.

Tori and Pio are the best! I am a black lab who survived liver cancer two years ago with their help and constant support. Island Animal has so many delicious and nutritious treats that have brought pleasure into my every day. I am a happy girl who walks on the beach, swims, and makes sure that I continue to get my Island Animal treats every weekend!

This place is amazing. The owner really knows his stuff and you can tell he cares about helping you do what’s best for your pet. He’s honest, extremely knowledgeable, and never pushes anything you don’t need. We drive over 40 minutes just to get our dog’s food here because the experience is that good. Truly a 10/10!!!
